New Zealand has many private training establishments (PTEs) offering a wide range of NZQA-accredited tertiary courses and qualifications. 

 

PTE programmes are often in specific vocational fields, most programmes are offered at certificate and diploma level. 

 

Some PTE’s offer foundation literacy and numeracy and Youth Guarantee programmes, and apprenticeship training.
